Morton Building Earns Energy Star® Label

Morton Buildings proudly presents the 2009 Energy Star® Label plaque to the Havana National Bank in Lewistown, Illinois.

The Havana National Bank is a 2,418 square foot facility that includes a large lobby, offices, conference room, teller stations, work area, restrooms and vault. Morton Buildings Director of Sales, Dan Nyberg, presented the plaque to Havana Bank Chief Executive Officer, Bradley Armbrust. Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer, Greg Stephenson, and President/CFO, Jeffrey Bonnett, were also on hand to accept the plaque. The building’s efficiency is something Bonnetthas been very pleased with, “In comparing to our other branches, this facility is the most effective and efficient as far as energy costs.”

The bank building features Morton’s exclusive Energy Performer insulation system, which exceeds many state building codes for efficiency. Morton Buildings served as the general contractor on this project. The building was designed by Allied Design Architectural & Engineering Group, P.C.
