Room to Grow for Ridge Spring Fire Department

June 8, 2017

Ridge Spring Fire Department in Ridge Spring, SC, began fundraising in 1970 for a new fire station, due to the cramped garage space that did not allow for room enough to open the doors of the fire trucks, once inside.

When they were ready build a new station, they had received quotes from a variety of other companies as well as Morton Buildings.   They were pleasantly surprised to discover that the quote from Morton was extremely more economical than the others.

After the building was completed, they felt like they received a very good value for what was spent.  The end result was a 7,512 square-foot custom Morton fire station with plenty of room to grow as the years pass.  The building features Morton’s Hi-Rib steel, cupolas, brick wainscot, windows with shutters, and Morton’s Energy Performer insulation package.

Morton Buildings has constructed thousands of fire stations and municipal buildings, so you can be confident that we have the experience to work on any project from the simple to the complex.
