Morton Attends Groundbreaking at Harley-Davidson Museum

July 20, 2021

Several Morton employee-owners involved in the new “The Garage” events venue project for the Harley-Davidson Museum, attended the groundbreaking ceremony at the museum campus in Milwaukee on July 15.

The museum had previously been utilizing a seasonal tented space for its events, but the newest addition to campus will be a permanent, year-round building to hold weddings and events.

Located at 400 West Canal Street in Milwaukee, The Garage is being designed and constructed by Morton.

Over 8000 square-feet in size, The Garage will boast floor to ceiling windows with garage doors that open so event attendees can view the beautiful Menomonee Valley and river, as well as have a state-of-the-art audio/visual system.

Ken Jackson, Project Manager with Morton Buildings, was a part of the groundbreaking ceremony, which included a stunt rider on Harley’s newest motorcycle.

The project has an anticipated completion date in May 2022. Check back here for more updates on this amazing building!
