Rushville Fitness and Community Center, located at 120 Rodewald Drive in Rushville, Illinois, and constructed by Morton Buildings, officially opened for business on Monday, November 9, 2020!
According to the organization’s Facebook page, “it is a center for anyone in the community and surrounding areas to gather and improve their physical fitness and build the community.”
The 32,000 square-foot building features a gymnasium with two 48’x74’ courts with bleachers and a center curtain, a fitness room with 24/7 access, group meeting space with a kitchenette, community and gaming area, women’s and men’s locker rooms, indoor pool, reception and office space, batting and golf cage, and a laundry area!
Beginning in 2018, the organization utilized Morton’s designBUILDprocess, which involved integrated design and construction services, to ensure shared responsibility for the design, budget and schedule of the project.
