Awards Given by the ESOP Association to Honor Employee-Owned Businesses for Outstanding Achievements in Communicating About ESOPs and Their Value

Morton has received an Annual Award for Communications Excellence (AACE) from the ESOP Association. The ESOP Association is the largest organization in the world supporting employee-owned companies, the more than 11 million U.S. employees who participate in an ESOP, and the professionals who provide services to them.

Morton Buildings earned an AACE Award in the Virtual and In-Person Events category, announced on Thursday, November 11 at a special event during the ESOP Association’s annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Morton Buildings is setting a great example for best practices in communicating the benefits of employee ownership and ESOPs to internal and external stakeholders across many communications platforms,” said James Bonham, President and CEO of the ESOP Association. “Congratulations to Morton Buildings and their team for their innovative and impactful work in telling their story and spreading the message of employee ownership.”

Each year, the AACE Awards are one of the most anticipated events in the ESOP community, with large and small employee-owned companies across the United States vying for top honors. The decades-old competition recognizes excellence in storytelling that clearly communicates the value of employee ownership and furthers the ESOP cause. In 2021, to underscore the critical importance of effective communications during the unprecedented circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESOP Association moved this year’s awards to their annual Employee Owned conference. The conference is one of the world’s largest gatherings of ESOP companies and their employee owners, and a showcase for the latest trends and innovations in the ESOP world.
