Morton Buildings Opens Construction Center to Serve East Central Iowa
Morton, IL – Morton Buildings, the industry leader in post-frame manufacturing and construction, has opened a new construction center to serve east central Iowa, including Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. The center is located in Tiffin, Iowa, housing local crews to service Morton’s full line of building projects, including farm, residential, equestrian and commercial projects.
Sean Cain, Vice President and General Manager of Morton Buildings, said the Tiffin operation consolidates three other Morton offices, located in Atkins, Marshalltown and Fairfield, Iowa. Those offices have been closed and employees have been offered continued employment at Tiffin or other Morton locations.
“Morton has and will continue to serve Eastern Iowa, and this consolidation not only strengthens our presence in the region, it also puts us in the best position to help align supply with market demand,” Cain said. “It enables us to best serve our customers by offering a single location for all sales, support and construction activities.”
