Morton Teams Up With Mike Wolfe

December 31, 2014

Building Value Days is back for 2015, and Morton Buildings is proud to partner with Mike Wolfe, the host of History’s "American Pickers".

Alongside Frank Fritz, Wolfe (pictured below left) has appeared in nearly 150 episodes of "American Pickers" over seven seasons since its premiere in January 2010. The show currently airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on History.

According to the "American Pickers" website, the duo visits junkyards, basements, garages, barns and other storage facilities across America, “restoring forgotten relics to their former glory and transforming one person’s trash into another’s treasure”.

Over the course of his travels from coast to coast, Wolfe often finds himself picking items inside Morton buildings. The connection forged on the road led Wolfe to buy a Morton of his own.

“In my line of work, I’ve acquired a lot of prized possessions that are near and dear to my heart,” Wolfe said. “When it came time to build a place for these possessions to call home, Morton was the obvious answer.”

Wolfe designed a vintage metal Morton Buildings sign (pictured above right) to be distributed as a gift to Morton owners as part of the 2015 Building Value Days sales event.
