January 10, 2019

CONCORD, NC - Jan. 10, 2019 - The World of Outlaws announced today that Morton Buildings, the premium steel building construction company in the country, is building on its involvement in dirt track racing by becoming title sponsor of the Late Model series, now the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series.

"Morton Buildings has been an amazing partner over the past four seasons, and we are honored to have them expand their commitment to our series and sport,” said World of Outlaws CEO Brian Carter. “Their level of enthusiasm and constant support has been second to none, and we’re excited to have them by our side as we begin this next chapter for the World of Outlaws.”

For more than 110 years, Morton Buildings has provided quality custom garages, horse barns, farm storage facilities, workshops, hobby buildings, homes, commercial and municipal facilities to customers across the United States. Today, Morton is the leader in the post-frame construction industry, and continues to innovate and improve building components and techniques. Whether you want a basic storage building or commercial facility, Morton offers a wide variety of features to fit your building vision.

“With over 100 construction centers across the country, we build where the World of Outlaws races,” said Morton Buildings Director of Marketing Brian Haraf. “We have quickly learned that our employees love dirt track racing and that World of Outlaws fans are people like us who believe in quality, craftsmanship and building their dreams from the ground up. We are honored to become a bigger part of the dirt track community as title sponsor of the series.”

Through its relationship with the World of Outlaws, the 100-percent employee-based company hopes to bolster recruiting efforts. “All of our crews are full-time constructing our buildings,” said Haraf. “They are seasoned professionals who walk the walk and build the best. They get paid well, and they earn it. This isn’t just a job; it’s a career, and we hope to find new team members looking for the same at dirt tracks across the country.”

The Morton culture of ownership means that from the construction crews and sales consultants, to the plant employees and delivery drivers, no matter who you interact with, you can rest assured you’re speaking with a proud owner of the company who wants to make sure that you are completely satisfied and happy. And from a career perspective, it means having a true stake in all of your hard work.

"The dirt track racing community of fans, drivers, owners, tracks and sponsors are the proudest and hardest-working group in all of motorsports, unsurpassed in their passion and dedication, and we are excited to bring them opportunities to work with and for a company like Morton Buildings that shares the same values," said World of Outlaws Chief Marketing Officer Ben Geisler. "We would also like to thank everyone at Craftsman and Sears for their years of support and in some ways, it seems fitting that we move from America’s #1 tool brand to America's leader in building.”

The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series enters 2019 with a strong schedule of 51 races at 38 different venues, including the season opener at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, GA, before heading off to the legendary DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park.
